Running your Aire
Insurance
If you have been issued an exemption certificate by MotorhomeFun or Campra Rally Group. It is a requirement of your licence that you have public liability insurance, if you are a business you may already have cover. If not you can get cover as licensed campsite from the Camping & Caravanning Club Insurance Services for as little as £86.84 a year (including Insurance Premium Tax, price for 2022). This provides insurance for a site allowing up to five units and includes £1m of Public Liability cover. Higher cover is available, but at an additional cost..
Taking payments is perhaps the most important part of having set up your Aire. CAMpRA is working in partnership with AireStop who provide a solutions to making the process of taking payments simple and efficient.
AireStop – As well as enabling payments from users, AireStop allows users to book a space at 24hours notice. Hosts are able to manage a booking diary system which allows organisations like sports clubs to enter all their fixtures at one time and not have to worry about remembering to open/ close their Aire as an event occurs. It is a more feature rich solution for Aire Owners looking for more than just a payment system.
