Re: Barrow in Furness

In view of the growth of the disposal point fund I have sent following to Sandra Baines at Barrow Council. Good Afternoon Sandra As you know I am interested in the development of facilities for touring motorhomes in the borough. CAMpRA have now set up a donation page to assist charities and clubs e...

Re: Grizedale Forest

Thanks for that Steve, I have sent this off just now. Good Afternoon David Thank you for your reply which I have read through a few times and can see your rationale with regard to parking charges. The one point which has me somewhat stumped however is the use of the word competitors when applied to...

Re: Grizedale Forest

Had a reply from a manager at Grizedale. Is it worth sending him the Campra links? England runs independently and has no relationship with Scotland who set their own pricing policies and so I have no idea what the pricing policy is for Scotland. With regard to our policies our recreational offer at...

Re: Barrow in Furness

With regard to grey and black disposal in the borough, I have contacted Sandra Baines again this morning asking if a bowser type disposal point can provided somewhere. The link on the Visit Cumbria only shows facilities at three locations, none of them in Furness. Morning again Glad to see things ar...

Re: Barrow in Furness

Barrow has secured some funding from central government and a whizzy website and proposed community developments are on the cards for Walney Island, specifically Earnse Bay. I have been on said website this morning and left the following comment and referenced Campra. Very pleased to see some moveme...

Re: CAMpRA Volunteer Group

I'm sure I replied to this on the forum page but I'd certainly be willing to do a bit. Anywhere in the country but preferably northern England / southern Scotland.

Cheers

Re: National Park and Community help Group

Certainly. We live on Walney Island and are very handy for the Lake District and have time on our hands. Whilst we're still sound in wind and limb we could certainly do a bit. This also gives the National Park folk a chance to become better informed about what a motorhome is all about. Ready made br...

Re: Barrow in Furness

The email I sent a couple of hours ago has been forwarded by the recipient to the planners involved in the local project and I was thanked for my input. So that’ll do.

Cheers
