Re: New Ground -Portland
Hi. According to Search For Sites, this is now day time parking only. Such a shame, we had planned to go there next month.

Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council
On BCP's facebook live session, I finally got a reply from Drew Mellor, the leader of BCP council, saying they are open to looking at an amenity for overnight motorcaravan parking. I hope the link below works and he answers my question after about 10 minutes. I immediately emailed him and included a...

Re: New parking schedule for Dorset
Hi Steve
I've just read your email to the Council re parking in Poole. I just wanted to check that you sent it to BCP Council as opposed to Dorset CC, as Poole comes under BCP. A reply from either would be interesting as both have previously ignored every email I have sent!

Email sent to BBC Radio Solent
Dear Radio Solent This morning Pat Sissons did an interesting phone-in on his show asking for suggestions on what can be done to avoid the tourist chaos (eg Bournemouth Beach and Durdle Door) we experienced on the South Coast last summer. I am a member of a group called Campra (Campaign for Real Air...

Christchurch Neighbourhood Plan Survey
Christchurch (Dorset) Town Council has launched a Neighbourhood Plan survey which allows the local community and its residents, businesses and visitors to have a say in shaping the space around them. I have completed the short survey, suggesting provision is made for overnight motorcaravan parking. ...

Re: Selby Council Response
I've just sent an email to the Councillor. We actually visited Selby 'by accident' last autumn, as it was the only place we could get a bus to from our site, and I must say we had a great time there, although we couldn't stay that long due to having to get the last bus back again at about 5pm if I r...
