Re: GREENLIFE MOTORHOME PARK - RETFORD NOTTS
It’s actually run by Richard (sometimes the only way to promote your site on certain Facebook groups is to leave ‘a review’) He’s joined the Stopover and Aire owners group now.. He’s gone via planning permission route and can take quite a few vehicles.

FB Support & Network Group for Aire and Stopover Owners/Prospective Owners
Hi, I’ve just created a Facebook group called Motorhome & Campervan Aire and Stopover Owners UK , so that owners of aires and stopovers can chat, give advice, become aware of each other and network. I did this as having opened an aire this year, at times I’ve wanted a bit of help. I’ve found a f...

Highland Council voluntary charge car parks including Moho overnights
Spotted in a Facebook group and copied for info - overnight parking in several locations will now be allowed across Highland Council. I put a thank you comment under the article on the paper’s site (I think it was this one but may have been a different publication) a couple of days ago, as were some...

Re: Stonehaven Car Parks Fire Risk objections by council
Thanks Andy, that sort of ties in with the document I attached to my last post, as seems to relate to permanent sites as opposed to overnight parking situation. The forestry sites trials used 4m as their spacing rules, which I assume they decided they were happiest with. We’re using 3m which I belie...

Re: Stonehaven Car Parks Fire Risk objections by council
I believe that the Stonehaven community council may be incorrectly quoting the Fire Scotland act 2005, it appears that they are actually quoting from a Scottish Fire & Rescue Service document which does state 6m between units but also that this can be varied following consultation with the Scot...

Stonehaven Car Parks Fire Risk objections by council
Posted on FB by Dod Reid 6/11/21. Comments turned off by admin. ‘My local council Stonehaven in Aberdeenshire are quoting the following in response to set up an Aires on our three car parks is some information available to counter this. Thanks. • Fire (Scotland) Act 2005, the Fire Safety (Scotland) ...

Re: Setting up a black waste disposal point
Thanks Steve, I’d tried searching the site but didn’t try service point as key words. Having got bogged down (quite literally ) in the SEPA/Scottish Water document I’m looking forward to reading yours as we’d really like to be able to provide the service, and would do so with fair pricing.

Setting up a black waste disposal point
Hi, we’d really like to add black waste disposal to our Aire facility but we have no mains sewerage and our septic tank wouldn’t cope with additional waste. Adding a new septic tank is not an option - way out of our budget even if we could get planning permission. We need a simple, cost effective so...
