I'm still having a go with Cornwall Council and my latest exchange of e-mails is not too hopeful. They just don't get it but I think they may change their tune if they are inundated with vans this summer. I can't seem to attach the relevant emails - will work on it.

I've just written to them re Stonehenge and Old Sarum, both of which I have visited, and will advise if and when I receive a reply.

I was in Bude yesterday, noticed new "no overnight parking" signs had gone up and also noticed that there is an ideal location alongside the Visitor Centre for seasonal overflow parking which allows motorhomes during the day but not at night. Emptying and freshwater facilities could easily...

English Heritage

Has anyone had a crack at English Heritage yet? I'm a member so happy to have a go if no-one else already has the matter in hand. Now that the National Trust is making encouraging noises it might be a good time to suggest that EH keeps up with trend.

Proposed motorhome parking ban at Staithes

In response to a Fb post by Gary Buckingham, which has now been taken down, I just wanted to say that I have put in my two penn'orth and emailed Redcar/Cleveland Council, as per the link given. I live in Cornwall but have written as someone who regularly makes forays all over the place.
