Re: West (mostly) E Anglia Activity
Below acknowledgment received from Wysing Arts on 14/6/21 - bureaucracy & a very cautious approach on this charitable bodies’ part means this’ll be very slow to develop:- “Hey Stephen, Thanks for sending over all of the information and for taking the time to visit. I think I would need to consul...

Re: West (mostly) E Anglia Activity
Steve, the EHU idea is due to Wysing Arts considering offering courses lasting days to motor caravan owners with an artistic flair, so it could be available to those who don’t have good off-grid capability. They already have some EHU there that could be adapted. I wouldn’t have mentioned it but for ...

Re: West (mostly) E Anglia Activity
Thanks, Steve, for those comments. I’ve passed your tip on to Wysing Arts by email this morning:- ‘Morning Ceri, Not trying to hassle you, but you may be interested in this suggestion put to me by one of the CAMpRA leadership team after I filed a report on our meeting last week:- “Just a tip, if the...

Re: West (mostly) E Anglia Activity
I attended Wysing Arts Centre near Bourn, Cambs., yesterday afternoon & met with Ceri Littlechild, Head of Operations. It’s clear she’s interested in setting up an Aire or a CL, but as she’ll have to get the idea approved by her management on a sound business case basis, she doesn’t expect any f...

Re: West (mostly) E Anglia Activity
After staying recently at Hillcrest CL (for CAMC members), I’ve emailed the owners today as follows:- “Hi Mr & Mrs Albon, My wife & I very much enjoyed our peaceful stay at your CL last week 3 to 6 May with super walking & cycling in the lovely Waveney valley right from our pitch (despit...

Re: West (mostly) E Anglia Activity
I’d approached in January Wysing Arts Centre, Nr Bourn, Cambs., who replied advising they’d consider. They contacted me last week looking for more details. I’ve arranged to meet with their Head of Operations on 10/6/21. Will update soonest afterwards. However, I suspect this’ll be a “slow burner”!

Re: Lincolnshire County Council
The recent elections, no doubt, have been a distraction in local authorities & in many cases will have led to a change of personnel & their roles. Keep plugging away, but you may need to start over again!

Publicity Via Others’ Facebook Pages
My Facebook news feed often displays ads by motor caravan manufacturers and dealers. They all have the usual facility for a Comment. So, I’ve taken to putting the following text on hoping it will be seen and bring some more people into our movement:- “If you have a self-contained motorhome or camper...
