Re: Parking ban in Lincolnshire

At least Cleethorpes has opened a dedicated motorhome Aire, with waste point.
And Louth has written a glowing report on the success if its Aire.

We can only keep sending this information to as many councils and councillors as possible.

Re: Gainsborough

Sorry but things have gone quiet in Lincolnshire, since the opening of the Aire in Cleethorpes.
Changes in personnel means we lose our contacts.
May be worth getting in touch and sending them the report from Louth.

Re: Potential sites for Waste Point Funding

The offer from revolution was that during the installation, as they need to run water and waste drains, they coukd easily run a base for a waste point.

But the leads that we submitted were never followed up by revolution.
It could have been a great opportunity.

Re: Info sent to the following businesses, venues etc

It depends uf they have suitable access and condition of the ground. But basically, if they have a level area with access, they only need the £50 admin fee and public liability insurance for a 5 van site. Some farm insurances add it for a small cost, if not we recommend club-care, who offer speciali...

Calebr wrote: Mon Oct 06, 2025 8:16 pm That’s a great point — having a map would make it much easier for everyone to find new aires! Maybe we could start by listing a few key ones and expand gradually.
Maps are now available on CAMpRA Aires facebook group, in featured tab

Thanks. I'll try and get a meeting. I'll also try and get Ashford interested whist I have the docs. Is there a known good opening cold email tactic? Introduce the concept, and request a meeting to discuss. Do not send attachments as they may get blocked by spam filters, request a contact email wher...
