Thank you for the information on the old power station site in East Lothian. ELC had a consultation about overnight parking last year when they received many comments asking for better provision for motorcaravan overnight parking. This is really useful to go with the comments they received then. Are...

I will contact them re Revolution Laundries. The gates to Springwood park are closed and locked at 5pm when there are no events on. It is not staffed after 5pm. Revolution Laundies sites are usually on open access places.

Spoke to Dan the manager at Borders Events Centre. They have never had the permission for a campsite in writing from SBC, although they have been told that permission has been granted. They have no idea who put up the sign at the place where motorhomes normally park. It was not at their instigation....

Angus council have been communicating with CAMpRA but pushes to apply for funding from the Scottish Government funds available would not go amiss.

Springwood Park is the Borders Events Centre at Kelso. There are no plans to open it as a conventional campsite. The planning permission was sought to allow groups who do not have their own exemptions to hold rallies to have meets and rallies on the site. They do not have the staff to open as a camp...
