Don’t know how to add this to site: 2 days ago stopped at The Nook, Cafe and coffee shop, on A689 at Alston, Cumbria. CA9 3BG. It is new and has a large hard standing car park. Spoke to owner to explain about our aims, she said that lines up exactly with hers. She charges £5 per night, has water, a loo, amazing views, immediate access to the largest Roman fort (ruins/ground works) in UK. The cafe is lovely and does great breakfasts. Give them a ring to secure your place on 07415 029389. As I said was not sure how to initiate this, so hope this will find its way onto our system or whatever we are going to use. Also added it to ‘Park4night’ app
