Plans for a 3.5 billion ' Kent Disneyland' took a step closer today, as the government accepted its 25000 page submission. Final decision expected in 12 to 18 months. Do you they have included overnight facilities for MH ?
ive just seen that the new theme park to be built in kent has come a step closer maybe someone should inform them of the benifits of a paid aire on site weve stayed at several in europe to visit their parks

Dear sir im writing to you to ask if any thought has been given to providing overnight motorhome parking at the new parkWe have travelled across europe and stopped at many theme parks all of which provide some degree of facilities for motor home visitorsIn particular europa park in rust germany which has over a hundred parking spaces and is very busy they have designed it to have access when the park closes to a large bar and restaurant and they provide a small amount of entertainment (a wild west show of about an hours duration). This isnt free or even low cost i think 24 hours there is around £35 and while we were there we ate in the restaurant so probably a family spend of £150 this is on top of the normal entrance fees to the park so a reasonable income stream.being situated in kent with close proximity to the channel terminals i think an aire of this type would attract visitors from the continent Bthere is a company in europe(camping carparks )that runs many similar places for local councils maybe the would be interested in running it or it could easily be done in house There is an organisation in the uk that is currently campaigning for the provision of Aires in britain https://campra.org.uk/
who can support the planning side hope this will be considered when the final plans are submitted
