Aire at home?

How easy is it to allow campervans to park next to my house overnight? It’s a great location in North Wales and I can offer elec + water for one vehicle. But I’m worried about the need to have insurance, council permission, etc which probably won’t make it worthwhile :(

You do not need a site license to allow 1 unit to stay for 2 nights but you would have to check with your house insurance if it would effect your insurance . Several people do it and offer it as MCC scheme.

Thanks Steve that’s perfect.

Do you have a link to info backing that up? Just for reference.

Will check with my insurance today. Guessing I’ll need to get some sort of public liability too?

Oh and what does MCC scheme mean?!

Hi Simon, MCC Motorcaravanners Club run a scheme where members allow others to stay overnight on their drives for a small fee.
You can find it on Motorcaravanners club website.

Possible insurance but it is for small campsites so not sure of the cost:
