Proposed motorhome parking ban at Staithes

The facts will always speak for themselves once they have been revealed.

In a recent move by Northumberland County Council they erected height barriers at 3 car parks quoting complaints, litter and toilet waste.

My partner and I attended the local council meeting who told us they were against the height barriers and these were imposed on them.

After a Freedom of Information application to NCC information was finally dragged out of them. It turned out that the local campsite paid for the height barriers on the car park opposite their site.

There were two uncorroborated complaints where no evidence was forthcoming.
Both complaints came from guess who, the campsite owner.

AS one of your councillors has found out always look well into these sorts of MH parking bans, they could well be illegal.
