Campsites allowing use of chemical disposal

Post by +Gina+ »

****Confirmed by email for 2021 when campsites open ***

These sites will be offering passing motorhomes the use of Green Chemical disposal/waste water dump and fresh water refill. As I receive confirmation from other sites I will add them to this post. You can find this post in Popular topics at the top of this page

Price for this facility ranges from £5-£10 and it would be polite to ring ahead to let them know you will be arriving. Always use GREEN chemical in your toilet cassettes

Two more for the list. I have spoken to these sites and confirmed that they will allow service stop off

Mount View Caravan Park, Abington, South Lanarkshire, ML12 6RW. Near Abington Motorway services on M74.

Crossburn Caravan Park, Edinburgh Road, Peebles. 01721 720501.

On average, do you know how much these sites are charging to refill and dump? I have a place in mind to target.

The cost for a service call can be as low as £3 upwards. Average is usually £5. Some charge much more but that is when they don't really want to offer the service and are trying to put people off!
