Leadership Team

Post by Steve »

Due to the continuing rapid growth of CAMpRA we need a member to join our leadership team to represent Wales.
If any if you would like to join us please let me know?

The amount of time you commit is up to you but you will have access to more information on what is going on behind the scenes and have a say in all group decisions.
We have no hierarchy all leadership have an equal voice.

We now hold a 1 hour (max) weekly zoom meeting on Monday evenings to discuss current topics.

Leadership team are often requested to supply guidance and support to members once they have made contact and this may include joining them on zoom meetings to represent CAMpRA.

It is important that as a member of the leadership team you are willing to familiarise yourself with group activities.

Things like the recently shared fire safety report is an example of just one project that has been available to leadership but only just made public.

CAMpRA has achieved unprecedented success since July and there is a lot more going on in the background but we are all volunteers with a common aim and we need more support in some areas.
If you are interested please consider joining us.

Hi Guys
I have only just joined Campra but am interested in this post of developing the facilities in Wales and have friends who have a place in Whitchurch with facilities for Waste Disposal including Toilet, Fresh Drinking Water, Dogs are welcome at no extra charge so long as they keep their owners under control.

Electric Hook Up is available if required, Aldi and McDonalds is about a mile away at the Service Area and the site provides Safe Overnight Parking for Motorhomes/Campervans!

I have stayed here several times myself and there is a paddock that the gate can be closed to let Dogs run and play, Also some great walks nearby and close to a Canal!

I used to Live in The Vale of Glamorgan close to Barry Island though I now live in Horwich, Lancashire though my Campervan does not hinder me from travelling and keeping an interest in the business!

I think Cardiff needs somewhere as the official Council site is very expensive and dearer than staying in a Budget Hotel and I would like to take on this role to develop Aires around Wales!

Regards

Hi Malcolm, thank you for getting in touch, I will put this to our leadership team.
I will add you to the Wales campaign groups, these groups are only visible to group members which allows small teams to operate
Outside of the main Facebook group and work on projects in confidence.
This will give you an insight into what has happened too far.
