National Nature Reserves - Scotland

Post by arthur49 »

I'm posting this feedback here as well as CAA Feedback thread, as it will be easier to monitor developments. NNR have loads of sites and if Burn O'Vat is used as a model, that would be excellent. And of course St Cyrus, with moho facilities in development, is NNR.

"Hello Arthur
Thank you for getting in touch and I am glad you had such a good experience at Muir of Dinnet National Nature Reserve. I will pass your comments on to the local team – they do a great job keeping the place special.

We are currently working on our approach for overnight parking on all of our reserves. Once we formalise any new arrangement, most likely now to be in 2022, we will be looking at which of our sites are listed for overnight use on sites such as CAMpRA.

All of our National Nature Reserves are listed on VisitScotland as places to explore for landscapes and wildlife. Muir of Dinnet listing - https://www.visitscotland.com/info/see- ... ve-p254621

Kind regards,

Susan

NB I have responded clarifying what we do - we are enablers/assisters, not a listing resource!
