They've not applied Steve. Correspondence has come about simply by liaison. They are doing their own thing, but I set up a separate thread here for Scottish NNR viewtopic.php?p=6967&hilit=national+nat ... rves#p6967 as we have offered input if needed

If its a community project and exemption application they could apply for a waste point funding.

They've got funding I believe from Rural Tourism Infrastructure Fund (RTIF). See here St Cyrus NNR https://www.visitscotland.org/supportin ... DtwQ4Quu1U

Hi, another potential site in the north east. I've crowd funded them before and will again this time. I've dropped them an email to suggest inclusion of a few overnight spaces either to run as a 'pub stopover' or as an 'aire'. If the initial contact gets a response I'll update here or start a new dedicated thread if the idea takes off. I gave the a couple of local examples like the GTM at Alford.
