On the Notts/Derby border near Ilkeston, there's Bennerley viaduct which is an old coal storage. Acres of unused land. The viaduct is being renovated and the land is classed as brown so can't be built on. Anyone with contacts in Derbyshire council could create a huge stopover within a 40 minute drive to the peak district.
I'll look into it and speak to the viaduct team. I only live half a mile away in the village closest to it. The viaduct is due to be completed this month for visiting.
