Very useful skills Stretty, we are in discussions with some steam railways, volunteer groups and National Parks at the moment so watch this space. 👍

Hello Steve,
I’m happy to continue what I have already done i.e. help Louth Livestock Market set up their Aire and a personal visit to the village hall in Great Hale. Please include me in an official volunteers list if you create one. I’m still in close contact with Jacqui as we strive to identify and help set up more Aires / service points in Lincolnshire … And attempt to make progress with the local councils here too.
Thanks, Zoë

Frugaldom

Post by Steve »

Anyone interested in providing labour in exchange for free overnight parking ?

Please let us know, dayes and times to be confirmed

I have a CAMpRA accredited Aire at Frugaldom, in Dumfries and Galloway. Our track into the yard, where the parking is provided, will need fixing soon, owing to the increased traffic. As we are a voluntary project and sanctuary, we will need volunteers to help fill in the pot holes. Is this something I could request help with via CAMpRA? The work will be done a little bit at a time to ensure access can be maintained and will be done as and when we can find volunteers

Would you volunteer to help with National Park or volunteer group projects.

This would be in return for free overnight stays and promote the image of motorcaravans leave no trace.

This is just an initial enquiry to establish interest NO COMMITMENT.

Important: Members attending these events do so at their own risk and CAMpRA accept no liability, it is up to individuals to make all arrangements with the organisers.
I would be more than happy to help with this, I have over 40 years experience in the construction industry.
