NI Planning application LA/06/2018/0967/F. Creation of a motorhome park for five vehicles.
This has been moving slowly through Council since 2018. (four objection letters from local residents - two who previously ran a Garden Centre on this site). Last infrastructure related documents were Oct 20, with no objections from either parties.
The bottom picture is the original plan, and the above is the resubmitted plan in Aug 20.

Update; 11/04/2022.

The area of the 5 van site was already in place and level. The applicant, Mr Johnny Reid has put in place 5 motorhome bays,( off set slightly from each other, and a grass area, between and in front of them. One initial EHU point is being developed,(others might follow), along with a wooden hut for a toilet, that will also have a CDP on the outside. Secluded from the main road, with views out towards, Strangford Lough.
There is also a small craft shop with a coffee shop, on site, that is their main business.
Johnny hopes to carryout further work this year, with the aim of opening in 2023.
