Hi,
We have created the MCINI. https://www.motorhomecraic.com/forum/pages/mcini A better description will be added soon. We have been going for quite a few years now under different names trying to rally everyone together. Our members have had loads of successes over the years such as Cobh. We started the Motorhome Council of Ireland and NI. Being sick of the caravan council getting a say in Ireland and the UK version in the UK. We needed a body that had the same clout and respect that the Caravan Council had but one that we were asked how Motorhome owners operate, not caravan owners.

We are currently in discussion with representatives of Government VERY high up the food chain. It's looking good and we have a meeting and we need to provide a presentation to government (stormont).

So things are progressing, slower than we would always like, but thats how it rolls.

We have a letter that was submitted to parliament and a question that is being tabled in the house of Lords.
Have you seen details of our presentation to the All Party Political Group on Holiday Parks and Campsites.

Did you ever find further information on the applications for Exempt certificated in Northern Ireland ?

I know of a women who was thinking of setting up an 8 Motorhome Aire on the North Coast, but became hesitant when I mentioned a pub near her was going to have 20 pitches in their rear carpark area from Easter 2022.
