Some great touring in Angus. Beautiful glens. Arbroath very popular with motorhomers where I read recently 30+ vans were parked up along the waterfront. Businesses there seem happy to get the income eg pubs, shops, cafes. Residents don't seem too bothered about them too.
The big BUT is I am not aware of anywhere in Angus with water/waste facilities - what do these 30+ vans do??? There is nothing on Search 4 Sites either other than overnight parking spots. No awards from RTIF.

Are we aware of anybody who has written to the Council? Even better do we know of anyone who is an Angus resident who could write the Council?

Is kernewek from this thread a resident viewtopic.php?f=25&t=1206

Arthur, Have you asked on our Facebook group?

If you are there look for village hall, car wash, visitor attraction, pub etc who can raise funds by installing a waste point.

Angus council have been communicating with CAMpRA but pushes to apply for funding from the Scottish Government funds available would not go amiss.
It might be good for the three of us to have a wee conversation about the state of play in Angus. Meg
