Lincolnshire Council Coastal and Countryside > Coastal country park;
Overnight parking

View a public notice of our intention to revoke the byelaws.

Byelaws prohibit overnight parking (between 10pm and 6am) at the following coastal car parks:
Anderby Creek
Wolla Bank
Marsh Yard
Moggs Eye
Huttoft Car Terrace
Chapel Six Marshes
We are no longer issuing new or renewing overnight fishing car parking passes due to the forthcoming introduction of car park charging at the coastal car parks. One element of the new system is the prohibition of overnight parking, which will result in a parking fine issued to anyone contravening the regulations. Before we are able to consider issuing fishing overnight parking passes, a number of back office technical issues need to be ironed out. We apologise for any disruption this causes.

I have set up a Change.org online petition to Lincolnshire County Council asking them to allow daytime parking for vehicles over 6m in length.

Admin note:
CAMpRA do not support petitions so please do not sign the petition as a member of CAMpRA if you sign any petition please do so as an individual.

Can anyone tell me why these posts are in the East Midlands forum and not Lincolnshire? Am I posting in the wrong group?

Hi guys. I’ve had a very good meeting with Lincolnshire County Council today.

With regard to Huttoft and the parking ban of vans over 6 metres nothing is going to change at the moment. They are conducive to further talks with me and have given me names of people I can discuss things with. I can’t say too much at the moment but as a member of CAMpRA leadership team I need to build up a working relationship with them and that takes time, patience and diplomacy.

I have also had a meeting with ELDC in June to discuss these issues. I am talking to them too and as soon as I have anything concrete to tell you I will, but I would ask for now no more letters, things are being discussed in the background and we don’t want to muddy the waters. They do know about and have noted the contents of the emails which have been sent.

Thanks for understanding.

We are talking to the council, the bans will remain due to the small size of the car parks but they are open to suggestions for possible Aires
