west devon

Post by Stephen Peacock »

Mr Peacock,

Thank you for your considered and well laid out argument.

I must admit this idea sounds extremely sensible given the need to help stimulate the local economy post-lockdown.

I will forward your proposal to the strategic lead car for parking with a recommendation to support. I can’t of course guarantee anything as it usually requires a majority vote. Nonetheless your idea seems just the kind of solution we should be looking at to aid recovery post lockdown.

Kind regards
Andy Coulson

As West Devon Borough Council is linked administratively with South Hams District Council, following the proposal by SHDC to allow motorhome overnight parking for a trial period I have asked if WDBC are considering the same.

Their response is "not yet"

It would probably help our case if more of our members asked the same question.........
