Stronachlachar Loch Katrine
The cafe at Stronachlachar allows motorhome overnight parking. This year the cafe will be being run (from 26th April 2021) by the people who run the well established aire at the other end of Loch Katrine. The road between the two which has been closed for 18 months because of landslips has been repaired and is open for cyclists again.

Thanks for that we are going there later this year. Didn’t realise the road had been closed.

Re: Stronachlachar Loch Katrine
The road I am talking about is not open to public vehicles. It is a private road much used by cyclists and walkers. Most go by boat to one end and walk or cycle back. Its 16 miles of undulating loveliness which persuaded me to change from a push bike to an electric bike!

Re: Stronachlachar Loch Katrine
The aire is at the other end of the loch. The person who owns the cafe at Stronachlachar will probably put in an aire there as well as he owns both. There is also going to be more spaces and a black waste point at Loch Katrine car park. Not this summer though.
