Spotlight on Craigmancie Stud Aire
Kennethmont, Insch, Aberdeenshire
About the Aire
This lovely little Aire, for two campervans, is situated in the farmyard of a working farm and Horse Stud. From your campervan you look out over the fields and village, and can watch the sun setting over the mountains.
Owner Alex is very happy to introduce you to the animals; they have horses, hens, dogs, cats, cattle and sheep. She has five very friendly fox terriers who roam free around the farmyard, so dogs are welcome but will need to be kept on a lead at all times.
The Aire is located in central Aberdeenshire on both the Castle Trail and the Speyside Whisky Trail. In fact, there is a Whisky distillery at bottom of drive! No tours at this one unfortunately but there are wonderful smells when they are brewing. On the other side of the village there is a castle and grounds and plenty of wonderful walks in the area. Should you want to travel further afield, and use this as your base, there are nearby train stations at Huntly and Insch that can take you to Inverness or Aberdeen.
