Waste Point Fund to open to applications

Thank you to all our members who have donated towards the CAMpRA waste point fund.

We are pleased to announce that we will be opening the applications process to allow CAMpRA members to apply on behalf of sites for funding from the Waste Point Fund. The applications submission window will run from 12noon on Sunday 12th of December 2021 until midnight on the 31st January 2022.

There is a form to fill in on our website (https://campra.org.uk/funding-projects/) which must be completed fully in order to be considered. Don’t forget – the funds donated by CAMpRA members are to be used primarily for charities and community groups.

Once the window has closed, applications will be considered against a list of both essential and desirable criteria and those which reach the required mark will then be put before the CAMpRA members to vote for their favourites.

The locations with the highest scores will receive CAMpRA funding for their waste points. The number of sites chosen will depend on the cost of the units supplied, but the intention is to use all the money donated up to and including the 31st December 2021.

Please help us find the most suitable locations for waste points – and submit your applications!

We will still be accepting donations to the Waste Point Fund (2021) until midnight on the 31st December 2021. We will then close the Fund and reopen as the Waste Point Fund for 2022 (00:01 on the first of January 2022).
