Hello everyone, I am a new member here. I give my love to everyone and I am asking you In what ways can installing an Aire on your farm aid in income diversification and drawing in tourists? What advantages come with setting up an Aire, and how does it generate supplementary income for farmers? Furthermore, what measures need to be implemented to initiate this process, and in what ways can CAMpRA help in establishing an Aire? Can you give more information about the benefits, possible difficulties, and the help offered by groups such as CAMpRA to assist farmers in expanding their activities? mp bhulekh
Hello everyone, I’m new here and wanted to share my thoughts. Could you explain how setting up an Aire on a farm can support income diversification and attract visitors? I’d love to know the benefits, potential challenges, and the steps required to get started. Also, how can CAMpRA assist farmers in establishing an Aire and provide guidance throughout the process? Any insights on how this creates additional income and promotes tourism would be really helpful.

Hi Guys,kolkata ff
I’ve just joined several farming Facebook groups to suggest that anyone considering setting up an Aire as part of a farm diversification project get in touch with Campra. Can anyone recommend a short, attention-grabbing message to spark interest?

Hello,
That’s a brilliant initiative, Steve! It’s great to see how easy and risk-free the process is for landowners to set up a small Aire. This will definitely encourage more people to open their spaces and support the growing motorhome community. Huge thanks to CAMpRA and MotorhomeFun for making it so simple.

What are the typical costs a farmer might incur to establish a basic 5-van Aire, beyond the initial application (e.g., in terms of ground preparation, signage, or basic services)?

It depends uf they have suitable access and condition of the ground.

But basically, if they have a level area with access, they only need the £50 admin fee and public liability insurance for a 5 van site.
Some farm insurances add it for a small cost, if not we recommend club-care, who offer specialist insurance for a 5 van site, from £115.

Remember that an Aire is basic overnight parking for self contained Motor Caravans, these are not campsites, no tents of any description and no caravans.

Min outlay, min administration.

They can register with Airestop UK , as an host site for free. Visitors can book and pay via the app.
